Beefbandits is a young, innovative online meat label founded in 2022 by the well-known BBQ experts Klaus Glaetzner („Klaus grillt“) and Marco Schmidbauer. The two meat lovers set themselves the goal of creating an online shop that focuses on quality, honesty, and passion.

The range includes carefully selected premium dishes such as dry-aged steaks, Wagyu, BBQ classics, and freshly prepared convenience options for grilling and the kitchen - always hand-picked, at fair prices, and directly from the manufacturer itself.

Beefbandits combines traditional meat craftsmanship with a modern online offering to bring top-quality meat enjoyment conveniently to your home.

Challenge

Complex products, weak personalization

Beefbandits' biggest challenge was its limited CRM expertise. Email marketing was limited to sending two newsletters per week, without deeper personalization or strategic customer retention.

The wide product range with its complex nuances created additional difficulties: Some customers do not eat certain types of meat, which made cross-selling particularly difficult.

In addition, there was strong competition in the market — high-quality meat is available in many places, which is why it was crucial for Beefbandits to retain existing customers long-term and prevent them from buying from other providers.
